Music in the world

Music has always been and will most probably always be a major part of our daily lives. From the middle ages to the modern day world from the baroque uncertainty to the rap of today music has dominated our view of life and made the long days (or short depends on the point of view) of our existence more enjoyable.

Music however is not considered a grand thing in all societies, for example muslims believe that music pollutes the mind with improper thoughts and is thus banned entirely from all mosques and religious services (though there is a brand of islam called sufism that believes in the positive power of music).

The music of the past has changed almost entirely compared to that of todays world the baroque eras slow and touching pieces have evolved (or mutilated once again point of view) into songs of love and pain.

The differences in music however can be seen even without looking into the past. Most people have a certain type of music which they enjoy be it the majestic and compelling classical music pieces or the rough more vocal (cant think of a better word for more orientated towards the lyrics) rap music which most probably has a slightly different kind of listening audience.

The feelings however behind the words and musical melodies have not changed though. The feelings of a bard and the feelings of a twenty-first century musician may be completely the same they just had a different way of expressing their emotions, because that is what music is. The expression of the emotions people either experience themselves or imagine from the stories and tales they read or hear about.

I personally don't believe that all the artists that write about love have actually experienced it, but the lyrics and the melodies are still compelling and attract peoples attention (even with the almost obvious lies ).

Music is an everlasting part of human life however and a necessary part of it bringing a joy and feeling of happiness with it to those who care to listen and embrace the motes the musicians play. Thats it.

p.s. hope you actually read atleast some of this :D

Twilight!!!

A mystical quadrilogy (a book serie in 4 parts) that simply blows you away! The thrilling romance of a teenage girl with chronic bad luck and a stunnigly beautiful extremely dangerous vampire!

I started reading the books last monday and haven't been able to stop! The first book simply overwhelms you (in a good way though) and even though the second one (new moon) is sort of a letdown after Twilight, though it isn't bad either. I probably just couldn't completely enjoy the experience because of the depression in it. I rather thought that even though the amount of sadness she feels is described well and specifically it misses something to make it less over-the-top less exaggerated...

The writer (Stephanie Meyer) has made Bella and Edward (the main characters) have such a strong bond between each other it goes beyond a doubt that many male readers wouldn't necessarily enjoy this quadrilogy as much as it is worth enjoying (for ex. Ale**i Ki**i probably wouldn't). The bond between the two however is rather muddled-up clear in ways but still confusing (mostly due to racial differences) the love is so strong (maybe even too strong one of the few less enthralling points of the book) that mis-haps happen adding a certain excitement true, but at the same time maybe going a a bit absurd. Especially the addition of Jacob the werewolf makes the story a bit more messy but the plot does need him to relieve the pressure off the vampires.

I'll stop blabbing now though, and I really do encourage all of you (Ale**i is exempt) to read the quadrilogy for it really is fascinating and rather impossible to put down after beginning.
