Now that I once again started writing posts I find it rather laborintensive and pointless so.. GOODBYE BLOGSPOT!!! till I once again have a strange impulse to blog ;)

Music in the world

Music has always been and will most probably always be a major part of our daily lives. From the middle ages to the modern day world from the baroque uncertainty to the rap of today music has dominated our view of life and made the long days (or short depends on the point of view) of our existence more enjoyable.

Music however is not considered a grand thing in all societies, for example muslims believe that music pollutes the mind with improper thoughts and is thus banned entirely from all mosques and religious services (though there is a brand of islam called sufism that believes in the positive power of music).

The music of the past has changed almost entirely compared to that of todays world the baroque eras slow and touching pieces have evolved (or mutilated once again point of view) into songs of love and pain.

The differences in music however can be seen even without looking into the past. Most people have a certain type of music which they enjoy be it the majestic and compelling classical music pieces or the rough more vocal (cant think of a better word for more orientated towards the lyrics) rap music which most probably has a slightly different kind of listening audience.

The feelings however behind the words and musical melodies have not changed though. The feelings of a bard and the feelings of a twenty-first century musician may be completely the same they just had a different way of expressing their emotions, because that is what music is. The expression of the emotions people either experience themselves or imagine from the stories and tales they read or hear about.

I personally don't believe that all the artists that write about love have actually experienced it, but the lyrics and the melodies are still compelling and attract peoples attention (even with the almost obvious lies ).

Music is an everlasting part of human life however and a necessary part of it bringing a joy and feeling of happiness with it to those who care to listen and embrace the motes the musicians play. Thats it.

p.s. hope you actually read atleast some of this :D

Twilight!!!

A mystical quadrilogy (a book serie in 4 parts) that simply blows you away! The thrilling romance of a teenage girl with chronic bad luck and a stunnigly beautiful extremely dangerous vampire!

I started reading the books last monday and haven't been able to stop! The first book simply overwhelms you (in a good way though) and even though the second one (new moon) is sort of a letdown after Twilight, though it isn't bad either. I probably just couldn't completely enjoy the experience because of the depression in it. I rather thought that even though the amount of sadness she feels is described well and specifically it misses something to make it less over-the-top less exaggerated...

The writer (Stephanie Meyer) has made Bella and Edward (the main characters) have such a strong bond between each other it goes beyond a doubt that many male readers wouldn't necessarily enjoy this quadrilogy as much as it is worth enjoying (for ex. Ale**i Ki**i probably wouldn't). The bond between the two however is rather muddled-up clear in ways but still confusing (mostly due to racial differences) the love is so strong (maybe even too strong one of the few less enthralling points of the book) that mis-haps happen adding a certain excitement true, but at the same time maybe going a a bit absurd. Especially the addition of Jacob the werewolf makes the story a bit more messy but the plot does need him to relieve the pressure off the vampires.

I'll stop blabbing now though, and I really do encourage all of you (Ale**i is exempt) to read the quadrilogy for it really is fascinating and rather impossible to put down after beginning.

ది ఫస్ట్ ఎఅస్తేర్

Easter is one of the most important events in the christian calendar. it is the day when (according to christian beliaf) Jesus rose from the dead after being crucified about 2000 years ago. The following story is 95% fact (if you believe in christ's resurrection) and about 5% my own kibosh. Make that 95% my own kibosh, and I sincerely apologize if it in any way makes you feel like I'm making fun of the big guy and the guy on his right, because I'm not.I am a christian.

On the day of the last day of Jesus's first life he had a bountiful supper where he forced his followers to eat his flesh and drink his blood(though I don't think they minded as they still urge others to do the same) and which was otherwise very enjoyable. The singstar was set up in a corner and everybody was just starting to have fun when they were rudely interrupted by guards who were just jealous of the disciples singing skills and wanted to ruin the party. Or so they thought at the time.

In reality the king was rather pissed off at the disciples and Jesus for always stealing the citizen's attention just when he was about to unveil yet another statue of himself (he didn't know the citizens where fed up with him and all of his statues and wouldn't have come anyway to any unveilings organized by him), and was happy when he got the opportunity to get his revenge, when Peter (who was fed up with Jesus) came to spill the beans on him (lies mostly) and his whereabouts.

The king being simple minded decided that if he just killed Jesus all the people would come to his next unveiling which was scheduled for Jesus's execution day. (nobody came). Jesus was crucified with two other people (a contracter and the organizer of the kings unveilings). After everybody had left Jesus's body was sneaked out by his disciples and placed into a cave until they had time to bury him (they were in a hurry to get to karaoke night).

The next day three women went to the cave to rub some ointments on Jesus's body just to discover him gone! After some time(one woman passed out) they reached the disciples favorite karaoke bar to tell them that Jesus had gone to heaven (an angel told them that, did I forget to tell you?)just to find that Jesus had already appeared to them (the ladies had had to refreshen their makeup so the were a bit slow in giving the news). Everybody found out eventually about Jesus's resurrection and decided to life a life similar to his in order to get to heaven themselves, which is why the makers of singstar are most probably rich.

This was my version of the first easter, I hope you actually read it through and not just the beginning and end.

Opinions

Opinions are opinions because every person has their own, opinion I mean. The question about them is; "Are they necessary?".

To most people expressing their opinion is an everyday thing completely normal, average. Other people find it hard (because they're being shy).

The necessity of opinions is most often said to be the part they play in the freedom of speech, and freedom in general. It is a metaphor for freedom apparently.

Another question is;"Do opinions limit the possibilities of your life?". If everyone was forced to have the same opinion about themselves, others, and life in general would your mind crumble away from lack of use? Can you really have a person who strongly believes in the new natzi agenda really teach the history of world war 2?

According to a talkshow I heard on the radio yesterday opinions don't matter. That of course is the persons own opinion which makes it rather pointless to say it in the first place.

An opinion even though persuasive can hardly be considered a fact though, which is why most educational professors prefer to use the word as it clearly states their doubts on wether the statement is true or false therefore leaving them to express their own opinions.

Some opinions I believe (opinion :P) are false though (wrong being such a harsh word) simply because though the opinion in question may be marvelous simply mind-rattling if the assertions on which it is based on are false the opinion is false.
There are people in this world who say; "There is no wrong opinion", but that's just theiropinion.

In the end no matter how long you think about it an opinion is simply only an opinion (a statement or thought about an issue or topic).
